500 Fairgrounds Drive Castle Rock
The 2017 Subaru ERock Sunrise Sunset is designed to offer recreational and competitive cyclists the opportunity to experience the thrill of competing in a challenging endurance race on a moderately technical off-road course. Ride as a solo or put together your team of cycling amigos for a memorable day of racing, cameraderie and laughs.
Taking place again at the freshly cut trails of the Philip S Miller Park in Castle Rock, Colorado. This amazing $30M facility offers the perfect endurance mountain bike venue less than a mile from the Subaru Elephant Rock start/finish. The playful and flowy 6.5 mile course is cut into to the hills and drainages surrounding the park and offers ample viewing from the staging area for team members and spectators.
As part of the 30th ANNlVERSARY Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Festival, Subaru ERock Sunrise Sunset offers cyclists the convenience of a Front Range endurance mountain bike race with support and amenities of one of the largest and highly regarded in cycling festivals in the country. Formally known as 24 Hours of ERock, ERock Sunrise to Sunset evolved into it’s current 11-hour format in 2014. Started in 2006 with 46 teams, the event has grown to over 90 teams and solos in recent years.
The race will start at 7:30 am on Saturday, June 3 and will end at 6:30 pm that same evening. Registration will open at 6:15 am and close at 7:15 am, so we encourage all racers to arrive early.
We use disposable chips so no need for any deposits on chips. The chips are attached to the back of your bike number SO it’s very important that you do not fold or bend your bib-if the antennae is broken, the chip will not record your time.
