Global expectancy has grown from around 40 to nearly 80 years in the last century. We will examine reasons why, explore some of the consequences of living longer, and discuss whether we would want to ‘cure’ aging if we could. Based on “Extra Life: A Short History of Living Longer” by Steven Johnson. Click HERE to register via OLLI at DU. Create an account and choose “Guest Courses Only” under the “What type of contact are you?” Bill Baird is an experienced OLLI South facilitator, Professor Emeritus, and former Peace Corps Volunteer.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Denver (OLLI at DU) provides relaxed, interactive, lifelong learning without grades and exams, to inquiring adults ages 50 and better.
