The Dumb Friends League Harmony Equine Center Enthusiasts Needed @ Harmony Equine Center

Calling all equine enthusiasts! Ever wondered what it would be like to share groundskeeping and stall mucking duties with over 100 of your newest friends? To not only groom, but build relationships with some of the deserving horses who may have never known such compassionate care?

If you have a soft spot in your heart for these majestic creatures, and some extra time on your 2024 calendar, the Dumb Friends League Harmony Equine Center™ could use your help.

We’re looking for hardworking individuals to join our Harmony family of volunteers and staff committed to providing love and support to the equines in our care. Here’s what you need to know:

Now through February 29, all application fees will be waived.

Apply before February 1 to join our next onboarding group! (Or keep a lookout for upcoming opportunities in March, April, and May.)

Applicants must be able to commit 3 hours per week at our Franktown, CO facility for a minimum of 6 months.

Sign up here today and be a part of the transformation in these horses’ lives.

The Dumb Friends League Harmony Equine Center™ is a private rehabilitation and adoption facility for abused and neglected horses, ponies, donkeys and mules that have been removed from their owners by law enforcement authorities. The Harmony Equine Center also serves as a central hub where horses from humane societies and rescue groups can receive training and rehoming.

The 168-acre facility includes three sizable, well-equipped barns for intake, training and adoptions, 26 pastures and turnouts, two indoor riding arenas and an education center. Our knowledgeable, professional staff and dedicated volunteers provide safe shelter, nutritious feed, top-quality care and training to the equines at the center.
