Welcome to Tiny Town!
It’s just a short drive west of Denver into the foothills to spend the day among our kid-sized buildings, riding the train, enjoying the fresh air while the kids frolic on the playground, and then relaxing with your picnic lunch or something from our snack bar while the sound of the breeze in the tall pines washes your stress away. There’s lots to do at Tiny Town, and one of the first things most people do is ride the train!
Train rides
Our trains depart from the station, Family with 2 kids, ready to ride the train right behind the gift shop, about every 1/2 hour, and more often on weekends and holidays. Depending on the day, you’ll ride behind one of our two real steam engines, or our Rio Grande F7 diesel replica. The ride lasts 9 to 10 minutes, and allows you to see parts of the park that are not accessible any other way. Fare is only $2, and kids under 2 ride free with an adult.
