Are you working for the weekend? Looking for ways to unwind? If you’ve got Friday on your mind, we’ve got the perfect solution. Spend time Downtown this summer with the Town’s First Fridays event series. The series kicks off Friday, July 3, with Dueling Pianos.
On the first Friday of the month, July through September, head to Festival Park to enjoy live music, food trucks, cocktails, kids’ activities and more. Live music begins at 5 p.m. The festivities continue until 9 p.m.
Don’t miss this high-energy, interactive evening with the talented musicians of Howl at the Moon. Belt out your favorite tunes and dance in the park, all while enjoying food-truck fare and cocktails. Don’t forget to request your favorite song!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a few changes this year to accommodate social distancing. Perry Street will be closed between Second and South streets. Additionally, based on current State health orders, only a limited number of people will be allowed in the park at one time. Staff will be counting numbers at both access points, so event goers should plan to arrive early.
With yard games, family friendly activities and crafts for kids to take home, First Fridays are the perfect night to bring the entire family Downtown. Check out CRgov.com/FirstFridays for details for the entire season, or follow the event posts on the Town’s Facebook page (CRgov).
